When I was growing up my best friend would come home from spending time with her family in Maine and absolutely rave about it. The way she talked about this state made it sound like it was the best place on earth. After visiting for my first time (almost a decade ago) I now feel exactly the same way.
Maine is an incredible state full of beautiful vistas, rocky coast, delicious food, and kind people. It was a no-brainer that when I decided to go visit Emma for a weekend that we'd head up to Maine for an overnight.
